The earliest evidence of glass blowing for perfume and oil is from the Greek islands. Pots and Pithoi are so delighted to represent hand blown Cretan glassware. The glass is recycled and hand blown into beautiful lighting, plates, candleholders, vases. Every piece is unique, but if you wish to pair any piece do contact us and we will see if it is possible.
Ceramics
The word ceramic comes from the Greek word κεραμικÏŒς (keramikos) meaning pottery and tableware made from clay. Ceramics in Crete are still as prolific and Pots and Pithoi have the best artisans making hand thrown, hand painted wares.
Food
Crete is abundant with lush vegetation and wild herbs that cover the mountains. Olive groves are simply all around you providing the best olive oils in the world. You can sample olive oil, honeys and herbs from small production farms and follow delicious simple recipes full of Mediterranean delights!
